ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The St. Joseph Police and Fire Departments are investigating a playground fire that happened earlier this week.
Officials say calls came in late Tuesday evening about the YMCA playground, near the North Village Shoppes, being on fire. Crews quickly responded, limiting the fire to a trash can and piece of equipment on the playground.
The playground is open with the burnt parts being blocked off. If you know any information about this incident, you're urged to call police.
