Motorcycle driver in serious condition after wreck

Missouri State Highway Patrol says a man was in serious condition after a wreck in Clinton County.

The patrol says 31-year-old Neil Dodd of Cameron was driving a 2008 Kawasaki Motorcycle on US 69 at South Cameron. At 2:45 a.m. Wednesday as Dodd was traveling alongside a 2000 Chevy Impala, the Chevy's hood flew up and struck its own windshield. As the vehicle turned into a private driveway, Dodd struck the left rear corner of the car, overturning and coming to rest in a private drive, as the car was coming to a controlled stop.

Dodd was transported to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.
