MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville City Council will be back to full strength next month.

That's because at a special meeting Monday night, before the regular city council meeting, the city council discussed letters of interest for the city council seat vacated by Rachael Martin back on June 27.

City Manager Greg McDanel says the council picked a familiar name.

If you recall, Bryan Williams lost his bid to unseat Tye Parsons earlier this year during April's Municipal Election.

However, Williams only lost to Parsons by 45 votes. Williams should be taking the oath of office at the next city council meeting scheduled for Aug. 8.
