GLENWOOD, Iowa - One Iowa town will have to find a place to cool down as we hit the dog days of Summer. That's because Glenwood city officials recently made the choice to close the city pool for the 2022 season.
The Glenwood Aquatic Center was originally supposed to open on Memorial Day. but construction issues delayed that open. The city council made the decision at it's last meeting of June to pull the plug on opening the pool this year.
For those who purchased pool passes for this summer, refunds are available. For those with questions and concerns, you're urged to call City Hall at 712-527-4717
