CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is hoping you dip your toes with them next month in Chillicothe.
The MDC is hosting a free class in canoeing and kayaking from 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday, July 7, at the Litton Agri-Science Learning Center.
The class, which is presented in partnership with the Grand River Family YMCA, is for newcomers who want to learn paddle sport skills.
The class is for people 12 and older and registration is required. For more information, or to register, visit short.mdc.mo.gov/458.
