WalletHub looks at best and worst states to start family

family

WASHINGTON - One state in our listening area is one of the best places in the nation to start a family. According to WalletHub, Nebraska is the 5th best state to start a family in America.

As for other states in our listening area, Iowa ranked 12th, Kansas ranked 27th and Missouri ranked 28th. WalletHub looked at several metrics, including affordability, education, divorce rates, health, safety and other metrics.

The best state to raise a family was Massachusetts while the worst was Mississippi.
