TRENTON, Mo. - Two Missouri men have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their roles in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.

24-year-old Troy Palmer and 26-year-old Dallas Hughs, both of Trenton, were charged in a six-count indictment. Palmer was arrested Wednesday while Hughes was already in custody on a separate case.

The indictment alleges that both participated in a conspiracy to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl in Grundy County and elsewhere.

It was investigated by the ATF, the DEA, the Grundy County Sheriff's Department, the Trenton Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies.
