SHERIDAN, Mo. - Two Sheridan teens are in the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck in Worth County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Dillan Gavigan was driving a 2003 Chrysler Town and County on Walnut Street in Sheridan, near state Route 246, with a 13-year-old passenger.

At 4:41 p.m. Monday, the Chrysler went off the road, struck a tree, returned to the road, then went off the road again striking a sign, concrete walkway and tree.

Gavigan was taken to the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by Life Flight with serious injuries. The 13-year-old was taken to Mosaic Life Care in Maryville with moderate injuries. Neither teen was wearing a seat belt.
