GALLATIN, Mo. - An elderly Higginsville man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Guy Stanley, 89, was driving a 2002 Dodge Durango on State Highway 13, near State Highway 6 in Gallatin.
The Patrol says at 7:28 p.m. Saturday, the Dodge drove through the intersection into trees and down an embankment. Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene. It's unknown if he was wearing his seatbelt.
