COSBY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a toddler is dead after an accident in Andrew County.
The Patrol says Timothy Sweeney of Easton, 73, was behind the wheel of a 2013 GMC Sierra, which was parked in a private driveway off of County Road 279, two miles east of Cosby.
At 5:51 p.m. Thursday, the pick-up struck a three-year-old boy that was in front of the passenger side of the truck.
The child, who was from Cosby, was pronounced dead at Mosaic Life Care about an hour and a half later. No other details have been released.
