JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation has a message for hunters.
News Services Coordinator with the MDC Joe Jerek says Share the Harvest is entering it's 30th year, and over the past three decades, the program has provided nearly five million pounds of venison.
He says hunters interested in joining the effort can visit confedmo.org. As for those who need help putting food on the table, they can reach out to their local food bank or food pantry.
