Storm drainage improvements coming to Maryville park

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville City Council is tackling a flooding problem in one neighborhood.

At this week's meeting, the city council approved a contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates for consulting services for Lisa Lane/Nature Park storm drainage improvements.

City Manager Greg McDanel says during heavy rainfalls, surface flooding happens along Lisa Lane and at least one home in the area has experienced damage from the flooding.
