BETHANY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation is giving a heads-up to construction work getting underway at the end of this month.
MoDOT says contractors from Widel Inc. will be doing shoulder work, milling and placing a new overlay on a portion of Interstate 35, south of Bethany, starting on February 28.
The work, which is happening on the bridge over Pole Cat Creek, will reduce I-35 to one lane in each direction.
Motorists should expect delays, so they're urged to use an alternate route. Work on this portion of I-35 could wrap-up around October 1.
