FALLS CITY, Neb. - One Nebraska school district is making a much needed repair and adding a new school bus to it's fleet.

At it's latest meeting the Falls City Board of Education approved the purchase of a Blue Bird passenger bus for rural routes in the district. Superintendent Tim Heckenlively says they normally try to purchase a new school bus once every two years.

Heckenlively says the oldest bus in their fleet is from 1995. The school board also approved a company to make a $239,000 roof replacement for the district's high school, with most of the money covered by insurance. Work on that could begin in June or July.
