Arson charges filed in connection with Chillicothe fire

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - First-degree arson charges have been filed in connection with a fire earlier this month in Chillicothe.

Zachary Sheehan, 23, and Jaissa Jackson,35, are charged in connection with the February 5 fire at the Days Inn in Chillicothe.

There were no injuries associated with the fire, but the flames damaged two levels of exterior stairs and siding at the hotel.

Sheehan and Jackson will appear in Livingston County Court next Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 9 a.m. for a bond hearing.
