emergency

FORTESCUE, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says woman and teenager from Falls City, Neb. were injured in a Holt County wreck.

The Patrol says Kylie Holman, 43, was driving a 2007 Ford on U.S. Highway 159, four miles east of Fortescue, at 4:33 p.m. Thursday with a 12-year-old in the passenger seat.

Authorities say the Ford collided with a semi-truck after the Ford crossed the center of the road. Holman suffered serious injuries while the teen suffered minor injuries.

Both were wearing their seatbelts. Holman was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by Lifeflight.
