MSHP: Two women injured in wreck

emergency

SAVANNAH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Andrew County.

The Patrol says driver 78-year-old Nancy Rockwood and passenger 82-year-old Connie George, both of Savannah, wrecked on 71 business highway, two miles south of Savannah, at 3:15 p.m. Monday.

Authorities says Rockwood was driving a 2010 Ford that traveled off the side of the roadway, crossed over a private road, and struck a tree.

Rockwood, who had serious injuries, and George, who had moderate injuries, were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. Both were wearing seatbelts.
