ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is inviting anglers to fish for trout in two St. Joseph ponds.
The MDC stocked trout in Krug Park Lagoon and Everyday Pond, which are now open for the catch-and-release season through January 31.
Anglers can catch and keep the trout starting February 1. MDC Media Specialist Bill Graham says trout are fun to catch.
Graham adds that natural baits and scented lures cannot be used for the catch-and-release season. For more information on winter trout fishing in St. Joseph, you can call 816-271-3100.KXCV-KRNW
