BOLCKOW, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says three people from Barnard were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Nodaway County.

The Patrol says a 15-year-old male driving a 2006 Jeep Laredo on 410th Street near Icon Road, five miles west of Bolckow, at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities say the Jeep struck the front of a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo being driven by 47-year-old Eric Billings with a 13-year-old female passenger. Authorities say the crash occurred as both vehicles traveled over the center of the roadway on a hill.

The male teen, who was not wearing a seatbelt, and Billings, who was wearing a seatbelt, were both transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries. The female teen, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.
