SAVANNAH, Mo. - The Savannah R-3 School District is now accepting design entries for a new mascot.

Communications Coordinator and School Board Secretary Jess Gillepp told KXCV/KRNW that the board decided to change their previous mascot, a Native American, so this is the beginning of the process to find something new.
