MARYVILLE, Mo. - A Northwest Missouri State University organization has unlocked the box.
According to a press release, We Gotchya, which was founded in 2018, has unlocked feminine hygiene boxes in all academic building restrooms on the Northwest campus.
This comes after the Northwest Student Senate's recent approval of $22,000 in funding to a We Gotchya endowment.
The endowment will cover the expense of supplying 38 dispensers in the academic buildings for free indefinitely. Northwest is now one of five Missouri colleges to provide free feminine products.
