GALT, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two men are in serious condition after a single-vehicle wreck in Grundy County.

The Patrol says Travis Vasey of Trenton, 31, and his passenger Dakota Dalton of Humphreys, 26, wrecked on Missouri Highway 6 just west of Galt at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say Vasey was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse that traveled off the side of the road, overcorrected, drove off the other side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned and struck multiple trees.

Vasey was transported by Life Flight to Truman Medical Center and Dalton was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
