JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation has a reminder for hunters. The MDC says dove season is now open and runs through November 29.
As for other migratory birds, it's now through November 9 for sora and Virginia rails, now through December 16 for Wilson's common and snipe, and October 15 through November 28 for American woodcock.
The MDC notes that due to flooding and wet weather this Summer, some dove management areas may not be ready. For more information about dove season, visit mdc.mo.gov.
