One seriously injured after wreck involving motorhome

MOUND CITY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says multiple people are injured after a crash involving a motorhome in Holt County.

The Patrol says Khamidjon Murodov of Brooklyn, New York, 44, was driving a semi on I-29 near Mound City, at 4:20  a.m. Wednesday.

Murodov's semi struck the rear of a 2004 Ford Motorhome that slid and overturned in the driving lane. Out of the seven people in the motorhome, Travis Wheeler of Redmond, Oregon, 36, was the only one seriously injured.

He was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph by LifeNet. Wheeler was not wearing a seatbelt. The others suffered no injuries or minor injuries.
