Nodaway County health officials confirm one more COVID-19 related death


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has announced another county resident has died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths up to 31.

\No information was released about the victim, but health officials also confirmed 33 more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The new cases happened between Aug. 5-9.

There are currently 59 active cases and three current hospitalizations in the county. Officials continue to encourage residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
