MSHP: Maryville man dies in wreck


BARNARD, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an 88-year-old Maryville man is dead after a collision over the weekend in Nodaway County.

The Patrol says it happened U.S. Highway 71 and 380th Street at 7:39 p.m. Friday. A 2008 Ford Fusion on the highway collided with a 2007 Chevy 2500 that had just pulled out from 380th Street.

James Boyles, the driver of the Chevy, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford suffered no injuries. Boyles was wearing a seat belt.
