Food insecurity grants being offered by MDA

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture has announced the availability of Food Insecure Urban Agriculture Matching Grants.

The competitive grant, which will provide up to $50,000 per project, will benefit residents who are affected by food insecurity in urbanized areas.

Applications are due by Sept. 30 and projects must be complete and ready for verification by April 1 of next year. More information can be found here.
