Chillicothe Board of Ed approves tax rate

With school back in session, the Chillicothe R-2 Board of Education approved several standard yearly renewals. After approving the conflict of interest policy and local compliance plans, Superintendent Dan Wiebers says the board approved a new, lower district tax rate for 2021.

The total tax rate is 4.7053 per 100 dollars assess valuation.
