WalletHub looks at drug use in states

WASHINGTON - When it comes to drug use, the Show-Me state may have a problem. The website WalletHub ranked every state by drug use numbers.

Missouri ranked 3rd in the nation for highest drug use, while other states in the KXCV/KRNW listening area were considerably lower; Kansas ranked 39th, Nebraska ranked 46th and Iowa ranked 47th.

Wallet-Hub looked at nearly two dozen metrics, including drug user numbers, incident where drugs were found on school property, overdose statistics and other factors.

The state with the highest drug use was the District of Columbia, while the lowest was Hawaii.
