ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services updated its WIC guidelines last month and they are encouraging anyone that thinks they may qualify to contact WIC.
Public Information Officer and Health Educator for the St. Joseph Health Department Stephanie Malita told KXCV/KRNW that the WIC office in St. Joseph is now open for in-person appointments, adding that their staff will be available all day.
WIC is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program aimed at assisting Women, Infants, and children. For more information, visit your local WIC office or wic.mo.gov.KXCV-KRNW
