A one vehicle accident has left an Atchison County man seriously injured last night on northbound Route N, 6 miles east of Fairfax.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Rock Port resident, Dalton Hudson, was northbound on Route N when his Freightliner travelled off the east side of the roadway. Hudson overcorrected overturning his vehicle onto its passenger side ejecting him from the vehicle.
Hudson was transported by Atchison-Holt Ambulance to Fairfax Hospital and later lifelighted to Nebraska Medicine in Omaha. The accident was assisted by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Atchison County Sheriff's Department and Atchison-Holt Ambulance.
