Mosaic Child Care and Education Center in Maryville will celebrate one year in operation with a birthday open house Sunday, from 1-3pm. Director of the Mosaic Childcare and Education Center, Pradnya Patet, says the event is open to the public.
"We want to celebrate that with an open house for the community and invite them to come, see our facility. We will have bouncy houses, we are going to have some shaved ice treats, and lots of different activities, games that families and children can engage in together."
Along with treats and games, Patet says area residents will have an opportunity learn more about their facility as well.
"...guided tours for anyone who might want that. So we'll do a brief presentation, just a quick snapshot of what our program is about, and then we will take them through the facility to show them our classrooms."
Patet says enrollment has grown from 78 children to today's current total of 98.
