Less than two weeks are left in the current Missouri General Assembly session. First District State Representative, Allen Andrews, a Republican from Grant City, says several key issues need to be decided before the end of the session.
"We're making sure that the budget bills get through accordingly. We're looking at bills that, of course, personally the wind taxation bill that I've been working all session that really has a direct financial impact to the district, is something that I'm working diligently on to make sure that it gets through."
The wind taxation bill would ensure tax revenue from windfarms would stay in the counties where the windfarms are located.
