Man killed in motorcycle accident

A 61-year-old Mercer County resident died in Daviess County in a one-vehicle accident over the weekend. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a motorcycle driven by Richard Moore of Trenton was southbound on Missouri Route 13, 1 mile north of Coffey, when he went off the west side of the roadway, struck a guardrail end and overturned, ejecting him off of the motorcycle. Moore was pronounced dead at the Harrison Community Hospital in Bethany.
