The Bluegrass Queen to perform July 7th in Chillicothe

Bluegrass performer Rhonda Vincent and her band the Rage will be returning to the stage of the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center, July 7, in celebration of Chillicothe's annual Missouri Sliced Bread Day. Administrator for the Chillicothe Area Arts Council Mary Lou VanDeventer says Vincent, a northeast Missouri native is a popular draw in Chillicothe.

"She was born and reared in the Greentop, Missouri area which is only about 65 miles from us.  She's nationally famous, probably internationally.  She is known as the Bluegrass Queen. She is very well-received in this area and folks wanted us to bring her back, so we're going to honor their wishes and look forward to another excellent concert in July."
