Multiple injuries in two-vehicle accident

A Trenton, Missouri woman is seriously injured and a Trenton man is moderately injured after a two vehicle accident in Daviess County last night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a van driven by 35-year-old Marquise Jones of Trenton was Northbound on I-35 at the 60-mile marker approximately 3 miles south of Winston at approximately 8:37 last night. The van slid on the ice-covered roadway and struck the rear of a truck, driven by 32-year-old Preston Turner of Mondobi, Wisconsin, that was stopped due to another accident. A passenger in Jones' vehicle, 26-year-old Kayla Jones of Trenton was seriously injured in the accident and was taken by Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. Marquise Jones sustained moderate injuries and three children in the van had minor injuries and were all taken by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The accident was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Daviess County Ambulance.
