Livingston County arrest reports up in 2018 but under budget

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office recently released its end of year report for 2018.  The report provided information on road patrol, detention, and the 2018 budget.  It was reported that traffic stops, civil process, citations and arrest reports all increased in 2018. The most significant increase is in the number of traffic stops and citations. 1,427 traffic stops were conducted in 2018 compared to 967 in 2017, while citations went up from 233 given in 2017 to 521 given in 2018.  It was also reported that the office remained under budget in all 8 areas of operation.
