Kansas City man seriously injured in traffic accident

A Kansas City, Kansas man is seriously injured after an accident in Clinton County early this morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Larry Evans was northbound on US highway 169 at 208th Street in Trimble at approximately 12:45 this morning when his car slid off the right side of the road and struck a line of trees. Evans was seriously injured in the accident and was taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital.

The accident was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tri-County Fire, and Tri-County E-M-S.
