Forage seminar to take place Feb 19

University of Missouri Extension will host a forage seminar later this month. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19 at the Gower Christian Church Antioch Fellowship Center Smith and 3rd St. in Gower, Missouri. Field Specialist in Livestock with the University Missouri Extension Jim Humphrey says because of the 2018 drought, a lot of people bought new equipment.

"We're going to start off in the morning with a roundtable discussion, just kind of talking about or answering questions, having a discussion. If people have concerns, questions about different things.  We know that in 2018, all of the decisions we made with some of the equipment was because of an immediate need.  Now that we have this equipment, we are hopefully trying to help people do a better job moving forward of trying to get the right crops or annual forages planted."
