Design services for Maryville signs approved

The Maryville City Council approved a contract for design services for wayfinding signs in the city at its meeting Monday evening. Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel says the contract is with Indigo Design Incorporated and the signage will be beneficial to visitors to Maryville.

"The design for wayfinding signs will be unique to Maryville.  It'll have a consistent approach for labeling destinations as well as public parking lots and other things.  We intend to take this wayfinding signage consistent through the community and to the South Main Project.  Really we hope to add to the beautification of Maryville."

McDanel adds the design process is set to begin next month with Maryville's tourism committee and should take 90 to 120 days to complete.
