Church Basement Ladies coming to St.Joe on March 14th

The St. Joseph Performing Arts Association will feature a performance of the musical comedy Church Basement Ladies at the Historic Missouri Theatre next month. Performing Arts Association Director Beth Sharp says this year's show is the sixth installment in the Church Basement Ladies series.

"It's called Rise Up O' Men.  Usually The Church Basement Ladies has been all about the women in the church, but this one is all about the men."

Sharp also says the Performing Arts Association is excited to have the series return to St. Joseph.

"There's a lot of people that really love these shows.  All we usually have to do is get the word out that they are coming and we have bus groups come in from all across the region."

Rise Up O' Men will take place on Thursday, March 14th at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Missouri Theatre in St. Joseph. Tickets can be purchased at the Performing Arts office, online at saintjosephperformingarts.org or by calling 816-279-1225.
