South Nodaway Board of Ed discussed calendar and chose lawn care

The South Nodaway Board of Education discussed the 2019-20 school calendar at its meeting last night.
Superintendent Johnnie Silkett says the district is working an a change in the calendar structure.

"We were discussing how to change from days to hours and all the ins and outs of that.  We received four mowing bids. We selected Thomas Lawn Care - was the winning bid last night.  We also are putting out bus bids and we'll be going through those in March."

The board also had two members that renewed their positions on the board so there will be no openings during the next election.
