Savannah Missouri teen was seriously injured

A Savannah Missouri teen was seriously injured in an accident early yesterday morning in Andrew County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 17 year old Sean Houston was northbound on U.S. Route 71 at approximately 4:50am
yesterday when he fell asleep, traveled off the left side of the road and struck an embankment. Houston sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. The accident was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Andrew County Sheriff's Department.
