Northwest MO man injures two while driving on the wrong side of the road

A northwest Missouri man has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk and 110 mph on the wrong side of a Missouri highway before a head-on crash that injured two people.
The crash happened Wednesday night on Interstate 29 about 5 miles north of St. Joseph in Andrew County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the wrong-way driver, 52-year-old Roger Moe of St. Joseph, wasn't hurt. But the driver of the Jeep Patriot that he hit, 21-year-old Corey Brueggeman of Wentzville, suffered minor injuries and the passenger in Brueggeman's vehicle, 22-year-old Austin Cross of Maryville, was flown to Mosaic Lifecare in St. Joseph before being transfered to KU Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries.
The wrong-way driver, Moe, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, second-degree assault, driving on the wrong side of the road and driving 110 mph in a 70 mph zone.
