Nodaway County Candidates Forum to be held tonight

A Candidates Forum, sponsored by the Maryville Citizens for Community Action and the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce, will be held tonight.  The event features Nodaway County races for Presiding Commissioner, County Clerk, Recorder of Deeds, Prosecuting Attorney and Associate Circuit Court Judge will be highlighted.  Also, information on the Maryville local use tax ballot issue and state amendments 1, 2, and 3 along with Propositions A, C and D will given.  Invitations to state and federal candidates have also been extended.  Northwest Missouri State Professor Emeritus, Dave McLaughlin will moderate the event which will be held at the Nodaway County Courthouse Courtroom beginning at seven o'clock.
