Mozingo Lake Recreation Park will host a haunted campground trick or treating event this Saturday. Mozingo Lake Recreation Coordinator Brandon Cartwright says the event will include games, food and prizes.
"We start 3 to 5 which include pumkin carving, face painting and there's also a few concessions around as well which include funnel cakes, kettle corn and more. At 5 to 7 we have the trick or treating even as well, too. Then usually volunteers go through the campground to judge the RV decorating contest. We usually do 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. Prizes vary by year, but usually the 1st prize is a 10-day pass.
The haunted campground event is open to the public and will be held at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park east of Maryville this Saturday from 3 to 7 pm.
