MO Dept of Conservation to dedicate wetland to L. Mohler

The Missouri Department of Conservation will dedicate a Wetland Unit in Holt County to a former Missouri Conservation commissioner next week.
Lowell Mohler will be honored next Friday as a Wetland Unit at the Bob Brown Conservation Area will be renamed in his honor. Media Specialist with the Missouri Department of Conservation Bill Graham says Mohler's contributions to conservation in the state have been numerous.

"Lowell is from Holt County there.  But one of the biggest reasons was he served on the Missouri Conservation Commission - the body appointed by the governor that oversees our policy.  But he's also been involved in Ducks Unlimited and Missouri Farm Bureau and many other organizations and activities throughout the years.

The dedication of the 2,500 acre Lowell Mohler Wetland Unit will take place at 1 pm next Friday, November 2nd at the Bob Brown Conservation Area in Holt County
