Maryville School Board featured a look at the robotics team progress

The Maryville R-2 Board of Education met Wednesday.
Maryville Superintendent Becky Albrecht says the meeting was a short one but featured a look at some student progress.

"We opened up the night with a student spotlight.  We have a robotics team at the high school that's relatively new.  This is either the 2nd, probably 3rd, year that's been existed.  At least this is the first year that it's taken off and grown.  We went to their classroom and saw their competition arena and some of their progress."

Albrecht also adds that the board discussed increasing staffing for para-professionals at the early childhood center.  The next board of education meeting will be Monday, November 19th at 6 pm.
