Library hosts Lego Club

The Maryville Public Library is hosting an evening club for children beginning next month.
The Library wil hold a Lego Club for grades Kindergarten through 6th the third Thursday of each month beginning November 15th. Library Youth Services Coordinator Elizabeth Argo says the event is a good time for children to get creative.

"It's just a fun time for kids to get together who have that common interest in legos and building and creativity.  We provide the legos and the kids provide the creativity.  So they come in and it's an hour long session.  They can build on a theme that we set up.

Argo adds that pictures of the children and the pieces they build will be displayed in the library until the next month's Lego Club.  Lego Club is held the third Thursday of each month beginning November 15th at 6 pm.  Registration for the event is encouraged to ensure all children get a baseplate.  To register call 660-582-5281.
