Halloween costumes and parties planned by the Rolling Hills Library in St. Joseph and Savannah

The Rolling Hills Library in St. Joseph and Savannah have several events planned for Halloween this year. The first is coming up Saturday with the St. Joseph branch's annual Uncle Fester's Costume Closet. Public Relations Specialist with Rolling Hills, Alan Stolfus says the event is for children in need of Halloween costumes.

"They can come in between 2 and 5 o'clock on Saturday, October 20th and look through the costumes that we have and pick out one to take home for them to keep that they can wear for Halloween.  They can also wear it to come back a week later on October 27th for the Boofest at the Belt branch, which is our annual Halloween party."

Stolfus says Boofest includes Halloween crafts, games and safe trick or treating.  Uncle Fester's Costume Closet will be open from two to five pm this Saturday and Boofest will take place the following Saturday, October 27th - both events at the Rolling Hills Library in St. Joseph.

The Savannah branch will hold its Halloween Haunted Stacks party on Wednesday, October 31st from four to six o'clock and will include safe trick or treating, Halloween Plinko and a treasure hunt in the stacks.
